Pollination is a process in which tiny pollen grains are moved between two flowers of the same species or within a single flower. This is often done by animals but can sometimes be done by wind. Sometimes successful pollination requires several visits.

A world without pollinators would be a world without crops. Pollinators make possible many of the foods, medicines, spices, fibers, and drinks that we consume.

Focus your plant choice on native and non-invasive species.

Rethink your use of pesticides. Is there an organic option?

Increase your green space. More green spaces and less pavement means more habitat for pollinators.
